A Coastal Family Photography Session in Palos Verdes, California

There is something so special about photographing families with little ones. With a baby and toddler, this Palos Verdes family session was filled with lots of movement!

Rather than worrying about getting everyone to sit still or look at the camera, we let the kids be kids. Everyone played together, which gave us so many of those sweet, in-between moments that I love to document.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening along the Palos Verdes coast. The sunset gave us the prettiest warm orange glow during golden hour, and we continued photographing just long enough to catch the soft blue tones that came afterward.

Looking back at these photographs, what I love most isn’t just the beautiful light or the coastal backdrop. It’s how much you can feel this family’s love for one another!

Those are always the photographs I want families to walk away with. Not just photographs of what everyone looked like in this season of life, but photographs that remind them what it felt like.
